Stork to Chalk is the (baby) brain child of Sharon Arcus,
who, as a parent, was continually frustrated to find that
truly innovative products did exist, they were just impossible
to find.
"I would often have a friend show me a wondrous product, only
to spend many hours searching for it in nursery stores.
And because I forgot who made it, I could never track it
down on the net. And you just can't type in 'innovative
products for parents' on the search engines. Haven't you
ever thought 'If only someone made so-and-so?' Well chances
are, somebody does, you just didn't know it.
"The thought for the website really became a reality when,
after the birth of my first child Sean, my sister gave me
a pair of Shevron Window Sox from Australia. They were brilliant.
Finally, something that allowed me to keep the window down
when parked and something my (now times two) toddlers (boys
I might add) couldn't rip off the window. So many people
asked me where they could get them from, but they simply
weren't available in New Zealand. Then a friend showed me
a great product she had for her toddler, that was so innovative.
I got to thinking, there must be some really great products
that would make my life as a parent easier, but just how
do I find out about them?
"And so, to the birth of 'Stork to Chalk'. A haven of
innovative products that I feel proud about. I am confident
that once you have used any one of them, you won't be able
to imagine life without them. I have selected only quality,
innovative products, which you may not have even known existed.
Some of which you will not find in New Zealand shops. Many
of which, will make your life so much easier. All of which
will also surprise you by their affordability.
