Originally written by a team of accomplished overseas pediatricians, it has been adapted specifically for New Zealand by the Starship Children's Hospital.

Dr William Feldman is the head of the Division of General Pediatrics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada and has published extensively in the field of pediatrics. The New Zealand information has been contributed by health professionals from the Starship Children's Hospital, The University of Auckland (Injury Prevention Research Centre), and Safekids.
