ORGANIC HUG A BUB (NEW)
Carrying your baby is an important part of their
growing up. They learn love, security, and about you,

- Because you tie the wrap yourself to fit both

The HUG A BUB is made from 100% cotton in
a simple wrap around style. Being 100% cotton it is
also very practical. It can be machine washed, just
like a T-shirt, and placed in the dryer if needed.
It is light, yet strong, and breathes to prevent overheating.
When not in use, it folds into it's own pouch and
folds into a small, lightweight item to carry, meaning
you will always have it with you when it is needed,
rather than sitting somewhere in a wardrobe.
 It
has been made to strict safety standards and is recognized
for its safety by physiotherapists, child care professionals
and midwives, and is in use in special care nurseries
in some hospitals. One of its greatest features is
the way it spreads the weight of the baby across wide
shoulder straps, crossing over across the back for
best back support, and low down on the hips. This
means the weight of your baby is spread down your

Because your baby feels close to you when it is
placed inside the HUG A BUB, it is an ideal
way to pacify a distressed baby. It can also be used
for comfortable and discrete breastfeeding, with either
a horizontal or vertical position being available
depending on your breast and baby size. (See Peapod
position below).
There are four recommended positions that your child
can be carried in the HUG A BUB, which together cover
a full range of preferences, needs and age ranges:
| 1. The peapod. This is a horizontal position,
great for breastfeeding and sleepy newborns. Ideal
for premature through to 4 months |

| 2. Heart to Heart. This is a vertical chest-to-chest
position, which gives closeness and security and
is wonderful for bonding, settling babies, and
relieving symptoms of colic and reflux. It is
most suited for babies from premature to 18 months
of age. |

| 3. Koala Cuddle. This is a variation of the
heart to heart, which allows older babies to have
their upper body free from the straps, giving
them some freedom. Straps can be easily slid back
over their shoulders should extra support be needed.
Suitable for 4 months through to 3 years. |

| 4. On the Go. This is a face out, vertical position,
which is great for an active baby which wants
to see the world. As the baby's weight is not
brought into your body so well, it is best used
for shorter periods. Also, this position should
only be used once a baby can support their own
head. Suitable for 4 - 12 months of age. |
