Although THE PoD comes as a very complete package for use, there are some accessories that you might like to consider purchasing with your POD. They have been especially designed for use with THE POD to improve convenience. We are happy to offer reduced prices when purchased with your original POD package (see below).

THE PoD SUNSHADE is a quality sunshade that quickly attaches to the frame of THE POD using insertion points that are already included in the frame. Like THE PoD itself, the fabric used is high quality and the colour is navy blue to match. This is the ideal accessory to improve safety for use when out in the sun. THE PoD SUNSHADE can be in place when THE PoD is being used as either a car seat or a stroller and will not interfere with conversion, so it can remain permanently in place if wanted. THE PoD SUNSHADE can be folded back whilst still in place if protection is not needed at any point or it can be quickly removed and folded away for easy storage of wanted.

THE PoD MESH BAG
This lightweight bag attaches to the back of THE PoD and acts as a carry or storage bag for items of use, such as shopping, nappy changing gear, etc. Because your child's safety is the primary concern, the MESH BAG attaches low down to THE PoD rather than at the handles to prevent the weight from unbalancing the stroller. It can be stored in the handy back pocket of THE PoD when not in use.

Available in left and right sided models, depending on which side you would normally carry your child. Please note that either model can be swung around to the other side should someone use want to use it, it simply means that the pockets and accessories will be facing the back rather than the front.

THE PoD TRAVEL BAG
If you are likely to be travelling regularly with THE PoD, Stork to Chalk recommends purchasing this protective CARRY BAG which encloses THE PoD and protects it from damage or marking. Made from high quality, tear resistant fabric, it is especially ideal if it is being checked in at airports, carried in the boot or stored in the garage for longer periods (e.g. between children). It will fit THE PoD with the SUNSHADE attached. It is lightweight and can be easily stored in the handy back pocket of THE PoD when not in use.

THE NAP-SAC PREMIER TRAVEL 3 IN 1 BAG
Although not specifically an accessory for THE PoD, STORK TO CHALK wants to let you know that the manufacturers of THE PoD also make the ultimate travel accessory for those who like to travel and want to keep this as simple as possible to complement THE POD. It is called THE NAP-SAC, and this practical item offers a travel nappy bag that quickly converts to a sanitary changing station and cozy travel bed.

THE NAP SAC is made from a durable, red nylon canvas that is easy to clean. In the folded position, it is a nappy bag of just the right size (35cm x 42 cm and 18 cm wide when empty). It has a wide, contoured, padded strap from carrying over the shoulder. This strap can be made longer than most, allowing the bag to be carried on the hip, where it is most accessible if needed whilst walking. It has six, large easy-access pockets, featuring one for wet storage. Four of these are expandable and easily opened from the outside of the bag with one hand. There is more than enough storage space and separate compartments for all of your needs.

Once opened out, it creates a padded area with self supporting padded sides which can be used as either a babies change area or travel bed. The dimensions opened are; 74cm long x 46cm wide by 20cm high. There bottom pad acts as a changing pad/mattress and is removable and washable. It comes with a soft, white cotton slip for changing and a zebra-print sheet for sleeping.

As a bed, THE NAP-SAC provides an ideal alternative to cocoons, moses baskets or portacots for smaller children. As with these type products, it is always recommended that babies are supervised whilst sleeping in them. (This warning is standard for all portable type beds). It would be an ideal alternative to sleeping in a car seat when the vehicle is stationary, or for use on the floor when travelling away or visiting friends. (It is not a device for use when the vehicle is travelling and it should never be used in this way).

As a changing station, because you were using THE NAP-SAC as a nappy bag, once opened out, all of the pockets will be is right there in easy reach on the outside of the change station. No longer will you have a baby lying down ready for a change and say "now where did I put those wipes?' etc. Everything will be ready waiting. Provides a sanity changing station for your baby where ever you go. Ideal for car use, travel use, going out or even when visiting friends.
